Tiny Dancers

This combination class is for children age 2 1/2 to 7 and includes elements of ballet, jazz, gymnastics, and tap. Its the perfect fun, yet structured way to introduce dance and movement to children. Dancers will develop coordination and self-esteem along with dance skills to support their growing mind and body. Ballet shoes and tap shoes are both worn.

Jazz

Jazz class focuses on learning proper dance technique such as isolations of the body, performance quality, and the agility to execute complex rhythms and patterns. Dancers will gain strength, flexibility, and stage presence. Jazz shoes are worn.

Tap

In this class the feet become the instrument. Strength, balance, and control of the legs, ankles, and feet are increased. Dancers will learn sound clarity, rhythm, phrasing, and musicality. Tap shoes are worn.

Ballet

Dancers learn the fundamentals of ballet technique and are given the opportunity to move, stretch, and improve self-confidence. This class will focus on developing strength, flexibility, proper posture, and artistry though exercises at the barre, centre, and across the floor. Ballet shoes are worn.

Hip Hop

This is a fast moving and high energy class. Hip Hop incorporates a variety of old and new urban, street, and pop dance styles. Students are encouraged to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements.
Sneakers are worn.

Lyrical & Contemporary

Lyrical is a challenging fusion of ballet and jazz. The choreography is often characterized by gripping emotion and storytelling. Contemporary draws from modern dance and will encourage dancers to focus on musicality and improvisation. Strong ballet technique is encouraged. Jazz shoes or half soles are worn.

Private Lessons are available to cater to the specific needs and goals of an individual dancer.
